Do I need a permit for an EV charger?

Usually yes — any new dedicated 240V circuit typically requires a permit in Massachusetts. We pull it.

How long does a panel upgrade take?

Most 200-amp upgrades are a full day, with a brief power-off window while we swap the service. We coordinate with the utility and inspector so you don't lose more power than necessary.

Can you install a Tesla Wall Connector or Universal Connector?

Yes. Tesla, ChargePoint, JuiceBox, Grizzl-E, Emporia — whatever you've got. If you haven't bought yet, we'll advise on what fits your panel.

Will my old fuse box work for an EV charger?

Almost never. Fuse boxes typically need to be upgraded to a modern circuit breaker panel before adding a Level 2 charger. We'll do a load evaluation first so you know what you're really signing up for.

Do you do commercial electrical?

Small commercial — yes. Industrial, three-phase, or anything involving fire suppression systems — not our wheelhouse.
